Hi, I’m Amanda. A mom, designer, and lifelong crafter from Ohio who believes creativity should be fun, simple, and a little bit messy.
I started this blog to share easy DIYs, holiday ideas, and real-life projects you can actually finish.
How I Got Started:
- Before I started blogging, I was always the one planning craft nights with friends and family—testing new DIY projects, researching techniques, and sharing creative ideas.
- I worked as an accountant for several years, but eventually realized my true passion was creating.
- That’s when I decided to take the leap into full-time blogging, turning my love for making into something I could share every day.

- I can never resist the craft aisle—no matter how much yarn, paper, or paint I already have at home.
- My favorite projects are the ones that start as “happy accidents” and turn into something completely different than planned.
- I once stayed up all night finishing a DIY project because I couldn’t wait to see how it turned out.
- I keep a running list of future project ideas on sticky notes… and they’re scattered all over my office.
